Small cultural nuances.... on the street. Beijing

culture, difference, Beijing, Street photography, blog

At the beginning i was intend to leave only central couple, and rest of the people just cut away. But after looking this picture on the screen, i decide to leave everybody. Here is somehow shows up all public habits of locals (of course i am already not talking about wearing flip-flops everywhere. My tongue  fingers already tired to do so).

Lets start to look from the left: man in blue shorts don't do anything unusual. But second one (one with naked belly) is just brilliant. If still you staying little bit shocked from idea, that grown up man walking on the central square of the city with his t-shirt, pulled up, then i, probably, have to go to city park and make picture there. Because over there it look it as epidemic.

Now everyone lets look at right side of our couple (pa-bam!!!) Do you see anything? Do you see exactly what i see? Now you can relax. Because what that those three are doing, its not the worst. Sadly to say....(and if you're sensitive about that, its better be prepared). Ok, what i was talking about? Yes, toddlers, who doing "pee" in public places is very very very common.  I don't even know if kids are allowed to use public toilets (because those ones are, seems, as everywhere), but using sides of the street as a toilet is seems more epidemic, than pull a t-shirt up.

Yes, and if you are really really really don't want to see all those scenes (or bring bunch of memory pictures with such kind of background), i could advice you to come over in winter. Promise, they wont do it when its cold)))
