You can wear as short skirt as you can (and, also, this skirt can have a huge horizontal stripes) if you're skinny enough. 

Seriously, being quiet skinny myself, i've been totally shocked when i arrived in Asia. Because all  mannequins in the windows are clearly bigger than average inhabitant. And i should jump from my European XXS and XS size straight to Asian M (and sometimes L if i have to count on my height)

Wonder, how women with normal sizes dealing with "size problems"?
